let it snow

I can't believe my  absurd lack of blogging these past months. To be honest, it's gotten super hard to keep up with--especially as my obsession with blogging is slowly diminishing.  But here I am--again--to announce to the world that my November was fabulous, that my December is also fabulous, and that I am perfectly baffled that my doubly fabulous 2011 is almost done and over forever. Only twenty-four days until I say hello to a brand new year.

November. Yeah, it was fabulous. I've drunk a ridiculous amount of coffee. I've flung myself whole heartedly into the strange and glorious world of Narnia (and wondered what it would be like to see the fauns and dryads dancing together at night.) I got my first cell phone, affectionately christened Raoul (win, win, win) and rediscovered my kindred spirit-ness with Peter Pan (no further explanation on that one.) Aside from all that, the new nanny job my sister and I are at is going marvelously--Christmas music began after Thanksgiving--and I went to a Scottish Country dance, a local Handel's Messiah, and an ANDREA BOCELLI CONCERT all in one weekend (where I heard Con Te Partiro live, which means I can now exist forever in pure, undefiled happiness.)

There is so much life to live, it's hard to breathe at times. Writing, coffee, and Christmas music are my fuel right now (all three being extremely stimulating.) I love these boots (I want them, rather), and I love this song... so, so much. And there is nothing quite like the feeling of  astounding yourself with your own well-written words. This novel we're working on is totally legit. =)

That was most of my life this past month. Bring on the lights, the hot chocolate. Bring on the wintery goodness the craziness of being just plain busy. Bring on the living.

...and bring on the snow.  =)

Glad to hear from you've been having a wonderful past month! Sounds like you've been doing lots of fun and exciting things! I love that Peter Pan picture. And that must have been awesome going to the Andrea Bocelli contest. I bet it was great! :D

I immensely enjoyed our fabulous chat today, Anna dear!

Can I just say I love that painting?? :) Well, actually I love all of the pictures in that series...but that one especially. :) It's so dreamily beautiful. I also discovered my love of Neverland-ishness especially over this summer. Oh! ... and you simply must listen to these songs!! ....You know, to go along with that wonderful flying, adventurous, never growing up feeling....

For that matter Narnia's music is wonderful too... ;)

And definitely agreed: Bring on the snow! *goes off singing* "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....."

Andrea Bocelli! Wow, I'd love to hear him in person.

Have "Christmas 1915" on repeat now. :)

We checked checked out that Celtic Thunder CD from the library and my sister was just raving about that same song to me, like yesterday :)
